'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fearless Ledge

Rangers` combative midfielder Mikele Leigertwood believes that the new look R`s squad should fear no one.

The midfielder signed from Sheffield United for a reported 900k, told the official website:

"With the squad we`ve got now, I don`t think we should fear anyone"

"A few weeks ago people were probably looking at the fixtures and thinking, 'QPR will lose that one` but now I think they can see there`s a bit more quality with the way we`re setting ourselves up and approaching games"

"Everything has changed really quickly but hopefully for the better"

Mikele also spoke about the upcoming Cardiff game:

"We`re on a decent run of form but we have to respect Cardiff who have really improved in recent weeks"

"They almost beat West Bromwich Albion in their last league game, but we have to approach the match in a positive manner, that is what the gaffer wants us to do"

Leigertwood has scored 2 goals in 22 appearances at the heart of the Rangers midfield, and returned well against Barnsley at the weekend after a four game suspension.

Has improved game on game for us, solid central midfielder. Shame we had to lose him for 4 games.
