'If It's Football, It's Vital'

John Curtis Open To Offers

John Curtis left Queens Park Rangers at the beginning of the 'Rangers Revolution' and is currently open to job offers.

Surely, there must be a club out there willing to hire the 29-year-old unemployed defender?

In his regular www.icon.com blog the ex Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and Portsmouth versatile player who can play anywhere along the back four or even as a defensive midfielder said...

I've stopped going in to Preston now, so I haven't actually trained properly for the last couple of weeks, although I'm running a bit and keeping myself in reasonable shape.'

'I'm as hungry as ever and hopefully when the transfer windows closes and it quietens down a little bit there will be a few options available to me. Right now it's just too hectic and everyone's running around in circles.'

He'll get a club, good professional. Depends if he wants to play League 1/2 football or not. Came to the club at preceisely the wrong time; a real pity.

Non league or reserve footy might suit him better.

We (Colchester) were tracking him in the summer but you beat us too him, so I don't know weather a move could be back on.
