Right Time Right Club - Nygaard

31-year-old forward Marc Nygaard was presented today (Monday 28 January) as a new Randers FC player with both parties striking a two and a half year deal.

"I feel that I still got some good years in me and I'm still ambitious about my career."

"I considered other clubs also, but when I was approached by Randers FC I was no longer in doubt. I got a really good impression of the club through my talks with Jacob Nielsen, Colin Todd and PC."

"I`ve had two and a half fantastic years at Queens Park Rangers, and now with the club on the move forward in English football it's tempting to stay in London. But the time is right for a return to Denmark, and I'd like to show that I can make I difference in Danish football."

Randers gaffer Colin Todd (who knows Marc from English football) is pleased to have Marc on his team.

"Marc Nygaard is a good buy for Randers FC, and along with the purchase of Søren Berg and Robert Arzumanyan it shows that the club is committed to move forward," said Todd.

"Marc is a Danish player with experience. He is tall, he nonetheless has an excellent touch with a ball and he's very good at ball possession. I hope he will be the addition to the team we've been looking for, and namely have the skill to score goals."
