QPR have been eliminated from the League Cup by lower-league opposition in seven of the last 10 seasons, with four of those defeats at Loftus Road.

Carlisle have met QPR four times in the Leagu

Don't think the starting 11 will be quite as 'raw' as suggested.

I'd expect to see at least 4 or 5 regulars in the starting line up.

Going for a 2-0 win for us.

Likewise, I would expect to see one or two more "first teamers", given the clearly less than perfect fitness levels shown in the first few matches.

Pre-season, for the 2nd year running, was clearly not good enough!

Good shout on the team selection - not quite what I'd have expected...

Really hope Hoilett has a good game - he seriously needs to do something to resurrect his career, either with us or elsewhere.

Hope he's not another one happy to sit on his *rse and collect an over-inflated pay cheque.

I won't be going to this one, as in previous years it was obvious the club weren't interested and this was clear by the attitude of the players picked. The team selected tonight on paper should win, but as we play on grass - who knows!

I am reasonably happy with the teams progress so far, and can see signs that we may be pushing for promotion. Maybe an announcement on 70 minutes that we still have 20 left, may prompt the players to keep going and not relax.

The win against Rotherham was encouraging, but they are the bottom club so nothing too much to shout about. But a win is a win and it does help.

I hope we win tonight and do not embarrass ourselves again.

AR,

I think Hoilett has probably played(???) his last game for us.

An embarrassment beyond those of SWP.

Sorry John, can't agree with you there. He and SWP may have ended up the same, but Jumior did contribute a few things during his tenure. SWP did zot all!

You should have seen that useless lazy #### #### #### last night.

Didn't cross a single ball, Ran downe every blind alley on the pitch and made a bee line for any two defenders standing together so that he could fall over and leave them with the ball.

Like SWP, Hoilett had a great talent, if anythingh, he should have been better. However, he is an embarrassment to the game. There are kids playing on mudheaps pretending to be pitches and they have far more passion than Hoilett. I never want to see the useless lump wear a QPR shirt again. In fact, he became only the 2nd QPR player I have ever booed off the field when he was finally subbed, and I've been going for 47 years!! For the record, Jose Bosingwa was the first.
