In all honesty, as disappointing as it was to concede a two-goal lead against Villa, the R`s were very lucky to come away with a point. Villa had multiple penalty appeals, that on another day could`ve easily been given and had it not been for the heroics of Paddy Kenny and Nedum Onuoha then Villa would`ve won. If QPR can build on that point with a win tomorrow, Wednesday`s result looks all the more impressive. Mark Hughes has a multitude of attacking options to choose from this weekend - a rarity this season. Adel Taarabt, Jay Bothroyd, Bobby Zamora and Armand Traore are all available for the gaffer should he feel the need to change from the team that played on Wednesday.
The mood up at Molineux has not been pleasant in recent months as the pressure on Mick McCarthy continues to build. With every passing defeat, the Wolves boss is becoming increasingly at risk of becoming the next Premier League manager to lose his job. His team are on an abject run of form and need some inspiration from somewhere other than striker Steven Fletcher, who has been in good form this season. McCarthy has used the loan market well bringing in Frimpong and Bassong who will add steel to the side and could make a difference tomorrow.
Aston Villa 2 (Bent, N`Zogbia)
QPR 2 (Cisse, Warnock og)
Team: Kenny, Young, Ferdinand, Onuoha, Taiwo, Barton, Derry (Ephraim), Mackie, Wright-Phillips, Hulse (Smith), Cisse (Macheda)
Wolves 0
Liverpool 3 (Carroll, Bellamy, Kuyt)
Team: Hennessey, Ward, Johnson, Berra, Foley, Edwards, Kightly (Hunt), Frimpong (Milijas), Jarvis, Jonsson (Ebanks-Blake), Fletcher
New signings Bobby Zamora and Djibril Cisse are set to play together for the first time. Mark Hughes is also boosted by the news that Adel Taarabt and Armand Traore are available for selection after their return from the African Cup of Nations.
Possible line up:
After being linked with Zamora for the most part of this season it hasn`t really sunk in that we`ve signed the England international. I`m a big fan of Zamora; I think he`s very good at utilising the ball which allows him to hold up the play superbly. He isn`t an out and out goalscorer but contributes immensely to the team supplying numerous assists for others. Zamora will get you at least 10 goals a season, which in fairness, Helguson was well on course for doing. It`s just nice to have someone else to shoulder the burden. On paper, Cisse and Zamora is a perfect partnership - one that will hopefully fire the Super Hoops to safety. Their key attributes should complement each other`s game with one pulling deep and the other playing on the shoulder of defenders.
On-loan defender and one time QPR target Sebastien Bassong is in line to make his debut.Karl Henry is suspended but Jamie O`Hara is fit to play.

Mark Clattenburg is the match official for tomorrow`s game. This season Clattenburg has issued 70 yellow cards and 5 red card in 22 games.
Personally, I think it will be a scrappy game. Most relegation dogfights aren`t glamorous affairs with every challenge being fought fiercely. At the moment, QPR lack composure in midfield which was very evident in their possession stats against Villa. The R`s must keep the ball better in order to close games out and create chances going forward. The inclusion of Bobby Zamora and his ability to hold up play in the attacking third will benefit us greatly.
I think it`s worth noting that Wolves do have plenty of decent options going forward. I`ve always been a fan of Matt Jarvis and to a lesser extent Stephen Hunt, both have a good cross on them and an eye for goal. They do lack the killer pass in the of centre midfield (similar to us at the moment) which leads me to believe the game will be won down the flanks.
1-1Tough game, score draw.
