QPR v Reading - Match Preview

QPR entertain the Sky cameras for the third successive match as they welcome Reading to Loftus Road tomorrow. Last week, QPR went down at the hands of Derby County in what was a pitiful one-paced display. It was surprising to see QPR perform that way as Redknapp had stumbled across a half-decent attacking formula against Burnley but then resorted to past mistakes with his team selection versus the Rams. Hopefully, the R`s gaffer selects the likes of Armand Traore and Junior Hoilett from the start so that we can offer a genuine attacking threat in the final third.

Reading are a side blessed with pace on the wings and the likes of Gararth McCleary in particular, will need to be stopped. The former Forest winger has already notched up 11 assists this term and R`s fans will remember he scored in the reverse fixture at the Madejski. Adam Le Fondre is another obvious key player for the Royals. The hard-working forward has six goals in his last five games, though these goals came in two separate hat-tricks. In recent weeks, the McCleary/Le Fondre dynamic has been key to Reading`s attacking play and if these two can be stopped, Rangers might be on their way to the points.

Will Keane could be in line for a debut. Matt Phillips, Danny Simpson, Charlie Austin and Ale Faurlin are long-term absentees.
