Peter Ramage is a product of Newcastle`s youth system. The Ashington born defender signed professionally with United in July 2003. The defender who can play centre back or full back, has made 60 appearances in total, but suffered a setback with injury last season and only made three appearances.

Ramage departed from Newcastle United due to lack of first team chances against the wishes of manager Kevin Keegan who still very much had the local defender in his plans. But in his search for a regular first team place Ramage came down to W12 on a free transfer.

He signed a three year contract with the R's and featured heavily at right-back during Iain Dowie's reign as manager. Despite not being the first choice of supporters, he made himself a firm-fans' favourite with his no-nonsense and total effort approach.

An injury in the opening few weeks of the season prevented him from taking part in QPR's 2010-11 promotion push - he eventually played a cameo in the game that saw the R's promoted against Watford.

He was loaned out to Crystal Palace where a cup run saw him miss out on a trip to Wembley before being released by QPR at the end of the 2011-12 campaign.
