Oliveira has a good reputation serving internships for two seasons at Lazio under Sven Goran Eriksson, watching on as they won the Scudetto.

He has also worked with Real Madrid, Manchester United, AC Parma and Fiorentina in his bid to learn the game, however his role at Rangers is his first practical role.

He plied his trade on the playing side for Paulo Sousa`s local side, Azores Academic of Viseu.

Paulo Sousa was delighted to announce Bruno as his assistant manager:

"Bruno has great knowledge of the game" Sousa told QPR.co.uk

"We have both been working towards this moment for a number of years.

"He is a great student of the game, has some fantastic, unique ideas and will be a valuable addition to the impressive team we have in place."

Oliveira left Queens Park Rangers along with boss Paulo Sousa and linked up with his compatriot at Swansea City in the summer of 2009.
