Coming up through the ranks in his native Liverpool, it didn't take long for Orr to fly the nest at Everton and join Newcastle United from a young age.

The young central midfielder was loaned out to Burnley before subsequently joining the club for which he made his name, Bristol City.

Orr was converted to a full-back at Ashton Gate and made 229 appearances for the Robins in an eventful time at Ashton Gate.

After initially rejecting several contract offers he was placed on the transfer list by City, but subsequently penned a deal with the Robins. He joined QPR in July 2010, making his debut in a friendly against Plymouth Argyle.

After a successful promotion campaign with QPR rising to the Premier League, Orr was ousted by the more experienced Luke Young and went on to sign for Blackburn Rovers on transfer deadline day of January 2012.
