Formerly of West Bromwich Albion, Gabbidon made a limited 20 appearances for the Baggies before being sent out on loan to Cardiff City.

His spell with the Bluebirds was very successful - making nearly 200 appearances for the Welsh outfit, overseeing two promotions during his time at Ninian Park.

Premier League outfit West Ham United signed the defender who struggled throughout his time at Upton Park with injuries, and penned a deal with QPR in the summer of 2011.

After showing positive signs early on, Gabbidon's progress was rather predictably blighted by injury. Anton Ferdinand stepped in alongside the likes of Fitz Hall and latterly Nedum Onouha and Clint Hill.

He scored the winning goal as QPR won their first FA game in ten years against Milton Keynes Dons, but was released at the conclusion of the 2011-12 season.
