'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Under 18s - QPR 1-0 Brentford

Rangers march on to the Youth Alliance Cup Quarter-Final with a vintage display from Raheem Sterling.

The Premier League's elite continue to keep tabs on the young prodigy who scored the winning goal that owed much to the work of Elliott Cox.

Both sides traded chances but neither were able to break the deadlock owing much to the excellent shot stopping abilities of R's Niki-Lee Bulmer and the Bees' Michael Pritchard.

It took a moment of class to settle the tie, and it came once again from the boots of Cox, as he buccaneered down the right flank before pulling the ball back.

The onrushing Raheem Sterling added to his growing reputation by slamming the ball home on the volley with little over 15 minutes remaining.

Rangers now move on to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Quarter Final after their 2-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth.

Before then however it's back to league action as Rangers host Peterborough United on Saturday in a bid to get their league form back on track.
