The Vital Bet

The Vital Bet
Myself and southernhoop have decided to share the betting duties, so here's the tip for tomorrow based on Ladbrokes odds.

Tomorrow will be the 'Crisis Club and New Manager Syndrome Special!'

Look no further than a 5 accumulator on QPR to beat West Brom, Crystal Palace to beat Sheffield United, Portsmouth to beat Birmingham and lowly Darlington to beat Torquay.

Now normally, I wouldn't give this a second look, but with this 4 match accumulator paying 361.76 for your fiver as I write, it strikes me it's worth a flutter.

Of course, you could always play 'safe' and go for a treble from 4, which pays out a potential 149.87 for 4 bets at 1.50 per line.

Let's look at the facts.

QPR and Palace with new managers; Pompey down and out with nothing to lose, but winning away last week and I'm sure struggling Torquay won't relish the long trek to the country's 92nd place club in Darlington, who beat Rotherham at home recently.

Enjoy!

Well done SH50, nothing like sticking your neck out on week 1. I've done 4 1 trebles and the 1 accumulator, potentially pays 172.26 for my fiver.

Queens Park Rangers are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

2016/17 Transfer Deadline - A Few Days Remain

Well it's almost that time of the year again, only a final few days to go before the closure of the summer transfer window for 2016/17, and with the international break...

Lap of Onuoha

A NEDUM Onuoha strike early in the second half saw Queens Park Rangers edge out Wigan Athletic in a fairly nondescript affair at the DW Stadium.

A game that never really got going was settled early in the second period when the Latics failed to clear a set-piece and the QPR skipper powered home from just inside the area.

Both sides created half chances but never really got out of first gear - with Grant Hall in particular a rock throughout to snuff out an endless array of Luke Garb
