'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Vital Bet

After last weeks failure, thanks to Wolves grabbing a point at Villa Park and Cambridge scoring twice in the last 8 minutes, it's back to 'bankers' this week.

Not sure there is such a thing though at this stage of the season with teams fighting for their lives, but here goes......

Tottenham v Portsmouth (HOME)

After Pompey's thrashing at home in midweek, and Spurs superb second half performance against Fulham, surely this has to be a home win?

Bristol Rovers v Southend (HOME)

Rovers are pretty useful at home and have won 4 of their last 6 matches. Southend have lost their last 6 away games, and I see that record continuing.

Millwall v Stockport (HOME)

Millwall have only lost once this year and only 1 of their last 15 games, and won 10 of their last 12 games. They were excellent away at Leeds last Monday. Stockport, after winning twice in February, seem to be back to their early season form again and have lost 4 or their last 5.

Shrewsbury v Darlington (HOME)

Darlington have lost 8 of their last 9 and don't look like winning anywhere. Shrewsbury haven't performed too well lately, losing their last 3 without scoring, but I'm sure they can put that right here. They'll also want revenge after losing at Darlington earlier in the season.

Celtic v Kilmarnock (HOME)

New manager syndrome is likely to come into play here, following Celtic's hammering at St Mirren costing Tony Mowbray his job. Killie have lost their last 5 and have already lost 3-0 twice at Celtic this season. I don't see it changing.

A £10 accumulator pays about £47. Not a great deal, but hopefully it will top-up the pot!

Good luck!
